The Nature Trail on Lenholma
Unique forest grove and pastureland, partly grazed by cows and sheep. The nature reserve on Lenholm island is home to more than 30 endangered species. The trail is marked with symbols depicting an oak leaf. Along the trail there are information boards describing the nature of Lenholm, and at
Mattholmsfladan, there is a bird watching tower (60.24180, 22.20711). Please note that walking outside of the nature trail is not allowed between April 15th and June 30th. The trail crosses pasture land, most of it in use, and so you will need to climb over some fences. The Nature Trail has been designed and executed by the Lofsdal Mansion, the Finnish Environment Institute and Metsähallitus. Walking distance to the Sattmark walkways.
